FAQ

  • The cost seems a bit high, are there other options available? Our goal was to find the most affordable options. During that process we found that hotels with lower cost typically do not have sufficient meeting space. Also, during our search, hotels with lower room rates charged more for meeting space and vise versa which means the retreat cost would increase as well. The options presented are the best locations we found in each city.
  • Will there be any additional fees above the cost mentioned? The retreat cost should be about $65 assuming 30 participants. If more participants sign up, retreat cost can be reduced. As for the hotels, the costs mentioned are already including all taxes and fees. No other fees are expected. Any additional costs would be for personal entertainment and meals.
  • What is included in the retreat cost? Retreat cost is to cover the cost for the meeting space, accommodations for the guest speaker, and some minimal retreat materials. The largest expense is travel cost for the guest speaker which has been covered by the Archdiocese.
  • How do we book our room? Directly with the hotel once we have finalized the location based on the facebook event votes (LINK). More information coming soon.
  • Can we do the retreat locally? The desired atmosphere of the retreat is to be somewhere further that requires overnight stay together rather than a local venue where participants would come and return home each day. The goal is for a weekend getaway together in fellowship.
  • I have young children/babies. Is it fine for us to bring them? Yes, children are welcome to come and join the child/babysitting services.
  • Will there be any babysitting services available? Babysitting services can be made available as the parents utilizing them will split the cost of a room and resources needed. Please contact Mark Nakhla directly to utilize this service.
